AICheck Terms Addendum
App-specific terms for AICheck, in addition to the master NIRO Terms of Service. Read both together.

What AICheck is
AICheck is a tool that runs on-device heuristic checks on screen content to estimate whether the content is AI-generated. It returns a confidence score and a short explanation. Captures stay on your device.
What AICheck is not
AICheck is a heuristic, probabilistic tool. It is not:
- A definitive determination of whether content is AI-generated.
- A forensics product. The results are not admissible evidence and should not be presented as such.
- Legal, journalistic, academic, or professional advice. Don't make important decisions based solely on an AICheck result.
AICheck will produce false positives (calling human-made content AI) and false negatives (missing AI-generated content) and we cannot promise an accuracy rate. Use it as one signal among others.
AccessibilityService scope (Android)
On Android, AICheck uses the AccessibilityService API solely to read on-screen content during an active check. We do not use AccessibilityService for any other purpose, do not log keystrokes, do not transmit content, and do not run a background watcher.
You can revoke AccessibilityService access at any time from Android Settings → Accessibility. Revoking it disables on-screen checking but does not delete your account.
Subscription terms
- Paid features are sold as a subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play. The product ID, price, free trial (if any), and billing period are shown at checkout.
- The subscription auto-renews until you cancel.
- Cancel through the App Store or Play Store subscription management screen.
- Refunds follow Apple / Google policy. See the master terms.
Things you can't do (in addition to the master list)
- Use AICheck to harass, defame, or threaten any person on the basis of an "AI-generated" finding.
- Re-publish AICheck output as if it were a definitive forensic result.
- Use AICheck output to make automated employment, academic, immigration, or law-enforcement decisions about a person without independent human review.
