The first FPV drone you can fly past buildings.
Drone Satellite Consumer uses NIRO's patented Host + Relay technology to keep your FPV feed connected when walls, trees, ridges, and job-site geometry would normally end the flight.
FPV signal loss is not a battery problem. It is a geometry problem.
Most FPV flights fail when the pilot, drone, and obstacle line up the wrong way. A building corner, a tree line, or a ridge can turn a perfect shot into static. More battery does not solve that. A bigger drone does not solve that. You need a second airborne point in the right place.

Same patented tech. New direct-purchase lane.
The commercial Drone Satellite page stays focused on leasing, enterprise pilots, defense, and industrial integrations. This page is the consumer FPV lane: individual buyers, creator teams, and working pilots who want a Host + Relay kit they can purchase outright.
- Host FPV drone carries the camera and flight path.
- Relay drone positions as an airborne range extender.
- Docking interface keeps the platform expandable as validation matures.
Built for pilots who lose jobs when the feed drops.
Real estate
Orbit buildings, lots, and rooftops with fewer dead zones around corners.
Cinematic FPV
Hold a live shot through campus routes, venue exteriors, and tree-lined paths.
Inspection
Keep the signal alive around structures, towers, warehouses, farms, and job sites.
Civilian SAR
Support volunteer search patterns where terrain blocks direct pilot-to-drone signal.
Urban exploration
Fly complex visual routes while staying inside legal and property boundaries.
Targets before final prototype validation.
| System | Host FPV drone + autonomous Relay range extender |
|---|---|
| Without Relay | Standard direct pilot-to-drone FPV range, limited by obstacles, RF noise, and legal operating conditions |
| With Relay | Obstacle-aware relay envelope designed for buildings, trees, ridges, and work sites; exact validated range pending prototype tests |
| Reference architecture | Host + satellite pair, optical registration, latch/receiver interface, staged validation path |
| Compliance posture | Remote ID aware; pilots must follow FAA Part 107/recreational rules, local law, and property restrictions |
| Patent | US 12,252,279 B1 |

Kickstarter-style questions
Is this the same as the commercial Drone Satellite?
It uses the same patented Host + Relay technology platform. The commercial lane is for lease/custom enterprise integrations. The consumer lane is for direct purchase by individual FPV buyers and small teams.
Does this let me ignore FAA rules?
No. Pilots are responsible for FAA rules, airspace, Remote ID requirements, local restrictions, permissions, and safe operation.
Are specs final?
No. This is a pre-launch reservation page. Final weight, battery, range, and delivery details depend on prototype validation and the Kickstarter configuration.
Why not just buy DJI FPV or Avata 2?
Those are excellent FPV drones. Drone Satellite is positioned as a premium patented relay system for pilots whose work depends on keeping the feed connected around obstacles.
What domains make sense?
Good options to check: flydronesat.com, dronesatfpv.com, dsfpv.com. A NIRO subdomain is the lowest-friction launch path.
