It uses the same patented Host + Relay technology platform. The commercial lane is for lease/custom enterprise integrations. The consumer lane is for direct purchase by individual FPV buyers and small teams.

Does this let me ignore FAA rules?

No. Pilots are responsible for FAA rules, airspace, Remote ID requirements, local restrictions, permissions, and safe operation.

Are specs final?

No. This is a pre-launch reservation page. Final weight, battery, range, and delivery details depend on prototype validation and the Kickstarter configuration.

Why not just buy DJI FPV or Avata 2?
