SkyWrite Terms Addendum
App-specific terms for SkyWrite, in addition to the master NIRO Terms of Service. Read both together.

What SkyWrite is
SkyWrite is a booking app for drone-based aerial skywriting. You design what you want written in the sky, pick a date, time window, and venue, pay through Stripe (or in-app purchase, where offered), and our flight team executes the flight when conditions allow.
Eligibility
You must be 18+ to book a flight. If you are booking on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
What you are buying
You are buying a best-effort skywriting flight at the venue you picked, on the date and time window you picked. We are not selling a guaranteed legible result. Skywriting depends on weather, wind, humidity, and airspace conditions we do not control.
Cancellations, weather, and airspace
- You may cancel a booking up to the cutoff time disclosed at checkout (typically 72 hours before the window) for a full refund.
- We may reschedule or cancel a flight for safety, weather, FAA NOTAM, TFR, airspace, or operational reasons. If we cancel for these reasons and cannot reschedule within 30 days, you get a full refund.
- Failed legibility due to wind shear, gusts, atmospheric conditions, or other forces outside our control is not grounds for a full refund; we will offer a partial credit toward a future flight where reasonable. We will tell you up front what conditions are needed for legible writing.
Airspace and law
All SkyWrite flights are conducted under the FAA's applicable rules (Part 107 or appropriate waiver). You agree not to ask us to fly over restricted airspace, stadiums, or in any way that violates FAA rules. We will refuse a booking that requires us to violate the law.
Capture and likeness
If we capture photos or video of the flight as part of your booking, those are delivered to you. We may use the aerial imagery (the smoke writing in the sky, without identifiable people on the ground) for our marketing, unless you opt out at booking. We will not publish identifiable images of attendees without consent.
Subscription and IAP terms
Where in-app purchase is used (e.g., for a recurring "premium booking" tier), the master terms' subscription rules apply: auto-renew, cancel through App Store / Play Store, refunds per platform policy.
